Recovery of a Dahon in Seattle - no serial required

Here's a rare one - a recovery of a bike without a listed serial number.

This little blue Dahon up in Seattle was identified and saved because it had a few distinctive stickers on it that lead to its discovery. Someone found it abandoned, looked it up on the SBR, and made a nice quick recovery.

05.14.2010: I think I have seen your bike unlocked by an apartment near my home. call me!
05.14.2010: This sure looks like bike #7017 description. I am going to get it (to hold onto)
05.14.2010: Me: Hello! The owner will be calling you in a moment, just got off the phone with them :)

This almost never happens - usually without a serial it's kind of a hopeless situation - but this is part of the reason why it is important for people to be descriptive as possible when they list their bike with the SBR.

That was a good one. The SBR is on a good run this month, lots of bikes getting returned.
